Who we are
GeoLever is a two-partner GIS consultancy operated by Diana Mureșan and Elom (the “Partners”). The geolever.co website (the “Site”) is operated by the Partners. For privacy questions, contact hello@geolever.co.
What we collect
We collect two categories of information:
- Information you give us when you submit a contact form, book a discovery call, use a free tool, subscribe to the newsletter, or email us directly. Typical fields: name, email address, company, role, and the content of your message.
- Information collected automatically when you browse the Site: pages viewed, time on page, referring URL, approximate location (city / region inferred from IP), device and browser type, and click events. We do not attempt to identify individual visitors who have not contacted us.
How we use it
- To respond to your inquiry and deliver any services you engage us for.
- To understand which pages and content help visitors and which do not.
- To improve the Site and our service offering.
- To send you occasional updates if you subscribe to the newsletter. You can unsubscribe at any time.
- To comply with legal obligations (tax, accounting, regulatory requests).
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for their marketing purposes.
Third-party services we use
The Site relies on a small set of vendors to function. Each receives only the data necessary for its specific purpose.
- Vercel — hosts the Site. Receives standard request logs (IP, user-agent, URL).
- Cloudflare — DNS and edge routing.
- Resend — delivers transactional email (contact-form submissions, discovery-call confirmations).
- Google Analytics 4 — aggregate traffic analytics. IP anonymization enabled.
- PostHog — product analytics (page views, CTA clicks, scroll depth). Configured to mask password inputs.
- WordPress (Cloudways) — hosts the blog. Receives only public blog requests.
Cookies and similar technologies
The Site uses functional cookies (theme preference) and analytics cookies (GA4, PostHog). You can clear cookies in your browser settings at any time. Disabling analytics cookies will not affect site functionality.
Lawful basis (GDPR)
For visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and other GDPR-equivalent jurisdictions, the lawful bases we rely on are: (a) your consent for optional analytics; (b) the performance of a contract when you engage us as a client; (c) our legitimate interest in operating and improving the Site; and (d) compliance with legal obligations.
Your rights
You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information we hold about you. You can also withdraw consent or object to processing. Email hello@geolever.co and we will respond within 30 days.
Data retention
Contact-form submissions and email correspondence are retained for the duration of an active engagement plus seven years for accounting and tax reasons, after which they are deleted. Analytics data is retained for 26 months and then aggregated or removed.
Children
The Site is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top indicates the latest revision. Material changes will be highlighted on the homepage or by email.
